Extension

Extension events are offered each half-term for able, gifted and talented students from each Academic Faculty, and we regularly take part in academic, sports and other competitions, achieving national success in Maths, Modern Languages and Art in recent years. We have also had success in the Rotary Club competitions (Young Geographer; Debating) as well as winning prizes for Law essays.  We regularly distinguish ourselves in competitions arranged by the ISA (Independent Schools Association).

Oxbridge and University Preparation 

Mr Wallace is a dedicated member of staff who provides 1:1 mentoring and development for students who wish to apply to Oxford, Cambridge and other top universities, both in the UK and internationally. 

Last year 35% of Sixth form students got into Russell Group Universities and 19% into UCL.  

Students in Year 11-13 receive weekly guidance about the UCAS process and we regularly hold university open events at the school as well as an annual visit to Oxford as part of the scholars.
