The youngest children are closely monitored through the Early Years Profile, their Learning Journeys and the Early Learning Goals. This allows staff to tailor each students educational journey so they can reach their full potential and often surpass it by the end of the EYFS.
CAT4 testing is then used for all children up to Year 6, giving an indication of future potential as well as any strenghts or weaknesses a pupil may possess. Through careful target setting this, and class based monitoring, are used to show a child how to improve, as well as celebrating successes as they are achieved.
In addition to two formal Parents' Meetings per year, our door is always open to parents to discuss progress. These strong relationships result in a fluidity of information so that all are fully involved in a child's progress.
